while i have been doing well selling retail auto parts for the past few months, it's with dealerships that we countermen get any commission money. so.... i kept irons in the fire all the while, and one of them has resulted in my being signed on to a small but prosperous import dealer!
guess i'll have to get my hair cut this weekend....

Know the feeling 62rebel. I had visions of my retirement being passed in a haze of whisky and real ale... can't do it: can only sip wine like an old Frenchman -- not too bad really. Leaves more money for the essentials. Petrol, tyres etc.'

Don.

first day on the new job; settling back into the groove with ETKA Audi this time instead of VW. working with a couple of old companions from other dealerships, too. although i'd never buy one, i think they're brilliant cars even if they're merely "pumped up" Volkswagens...
i think i shall like it here.
