While searching on ebay last night I came across another Chevy Truck owner only a few miles from me. He owns a great 1 1/2 ton panel van and a Willys jeep.





He's very interested in all things military and has some very interesting information @ http://www.1st-mac.com/ I never knew we had a Chevy convoy so close during the war.

I've told him about this site so he may join us in the future, but in the meantime I'm going over to see the vehicles Smile

Great website.
I learned to drive in an Austin K2. I was an apprentice in a factory that reconditioned them for the Ministry of Supply along with Bedford OLs and later the RLs. The were then stored in various 'dumps' awaiting the next war.
