latest update.....my workshop has now dried out (with the heating on), I've got the bonnet sanded and primed (yesterday) and I've just got wet through in the rain taking the back wheels off, ready to remove the back axle for re-furbishment. 
she's coming on slowly, last night I couldn't believe my luck, I stripped the rotten door card from the front off side door to find the door inside like 'brand new', all the paint and wood is ok and the window winder mechanism is in good condition, its just a shame the lock and door handle is seized up.
more pics will be added when I've time....incidently, why is it that I can only upload one photo to photobucket at a time?....its a pain in the ****, I have to upload a photo, then logout, then log back in to upload another!
is this normal? or is there something wrong with my computer

Jason,
As you pick the photos to be uploaded into Photobucket hold down the CTRL key and it will allow many pics. to be highlighted. When finished with your selection click upload and they all should go.

I can upload up to 20 pictures at the one time without any problems. There is also a new high speed uploader but I've never used it yet

They need to be next to each other in what ever file you have them on your own computer to do multiple pick ups.
If you haven't selected multiple files before, single click on the first one to highlight it then press and hold shift then single click on the last one, then double click or click on the enter button on the select files window. |

sorry for no replies for a couple of weeks, I'm on with sanding the bonnet inside and out and as the old paint is really thick its taking some sanding and a lot of time , I've sent the radiator grill off for re-chroming and should get it back before christmas.
so the plan is to get the grill back, sort the bonnet and re-fit them both before christmas!, pics will be added when I get that far
I tried the photobucket problem, and it works  .....I added some pics of my brothers car to the 'seen anything interesting' thread.

well after a lot of sanding, priming and painting, the grill and bonnet are back on and I think you'll agree she's starting to look good........
the yellow on the side flaps is primer and will be ivory coloured when I get some paint to paint them 
the grill has been painted with 'chrome' paint for now, due to our local platers quoting me a colossal £185 + vat to have it chromed!  .......I will have it chromed one day but at present there's other things that I can spend £185 on!

| I must say the progress you have made in the space of six weeks is remarkable, you're certainly mot one of these restorers who leave it sitting around for 5 years are you! I really really look froward to seeing this as it progresses... |

thanks for the comments, yeah I am chuffed she's coming 'back to life' the biggest problem is getting the old paint off, I'm on with the front wings now and the paint is 4 coats and like 1/4 of an inch thick  (maybe an exaggeration)
I'm planning to get the front end finished, then work my way back through the car.

hi rick, yeah I'd been promised some 2inch by 2inch timbers off a mate, but they aint turned up yet  I'll have to go out and get some and then get a frame up. the sheet can't rub on the new paint at the moment but I'll have to sort a frame for when I paint the roof.
