I think the Facel designer had enjoyed a few flights in an aircraft cockpit.

Penman yes they are heat and ventilation and one is advance and retard on the distributor. The dash is indeed painted, very cleverly, it fools everyone
Love the SS/XK140 too.
The dash is always the second place people look when they see a car they like. Lets see more

The 47 model differers from earlier models by having a flat at the centre bottom of the dash for the fitment of a radio. Earlier models went to a peak
