Hello everyone
Just joined the forum. Here is my classic - a 1953 Empire Green Morris Minor. It is unusualy in that it is the model between SV and OHV, so it has the OHV motor and box but SV front hubs and diff. I purchased the car in 1984 and we used it for our wedding in 1986. Shortly thereafter we moved overseas and the car sat in storage until 2003 when I rescued it and began a full resoration. getting close to the end now as you can see.

Welcome David.
I am one of the ones on here who do have a Moggy. Mine is a 65. Restored in 2006 and painted Mercedes China Blue as it is just a bit brighter than its rather drab smoke blue original colour, and much better than the trafalgar blue lash up paint job it had when I bought in in 2004

Hi david, nice looking sheen on the motor --is that a two pack or cellulose paint job? It`s going to turn a few heads when it`s finished.
Cheers--Ray the Rocker... |

There's just something about a split screen, isn't there?

Lovely car, nice colour. I had a grey 1958 MM once, loved the red leather seats and trafficators. Was not so sure about its strength though - the chassis is not very substantial.

Interesting idea that you can "rescue" a car which is in your own ownership!
Means I still can "rescue" some which I have owned for a long time but which have never seen the road in my ownership! |
