Those of you that looked at the 'Ford 4 x 4' topic, and linked youtube film will know that I have been experimenting with getting 8mm movie film into digital format.
Unfortunately my Standard 8 projector has blown its bulb, so that ends that process for a while, so I started work on some Super 8.
Here is a link for you

The 1928 Model A Ford in the opening sequence was the pride and joy of my wife and myself. It was rather well traveled having been to Perth and back in 1975, a little jaunt of about 5,000 miles and to Cairns and back in 1976, a similar round trip distance.
The temperature on January 26th 1978 was in the region of 35 degrees, hence so many of the cars sheltering in the shade. There was a grand parade along some city streets, but I could not drive and film at the same time, so you miss out on that.
Hope you enjoy the movie, and I apologise for the poor quality- something else I have to try to solve. The sound track is from my original editing and I was too lazy to make a new one, so you have to put up with projector noise too!
Enjoy! Dane. _________________ Dane- roverdriver but not a Viking. |

Great stuff Dane,
Doubly vintage too. Keep 'em coming.
Thanks,
