I know someone rebuilding a '48 DeSoto (in the UK), and he's wondering if there are any good parts specialists, either here or in the US, that he should know about when it comes to piecing it back together?? the engine looks like a Dodge flathead 6, so I assume it was shared with several cars of that era, but I know he'll be on the lookout for bits such as wheel cylinders etc.

Google for Andy Bernbaum, he's a MoPar/Chrysler/Plymouth etc specialist. He can be grumpy but knows his stuff, likes the 40's cars particularly. |
