Sorry, very late, but hope you enjoy the Italian (and other!) exotica:

Some strangely familiar faces there too....

...my Tonkatoy featured on the magazine's website after the event Very Happy

Hi wrinx what happened to that light blue 75 in the 4th from top photo?
It looks like some car ready for bangers or something similar?!

bob,

That was another 'victim' of Top Gear. They each had to buy an Alfa and complete some tasks. The white Spider next to it broke down and got towed into the meet. The program was quite funny but I along with others here don't like what they do with what is really our money.

I dont like much this top gear although I never saw a single episode but I saw pieces on youtube.
I do not think they are as passionate about cars as they want us to believe!!

Although not perfect, Top Gear is about the only programme I circle in the TV paper (F1 too). Some of the episodes drag on (the star in the car thing is really tedious), but most of the rest I find very watchable. I'd rather see my licence fee spent on this than yet another boring phone-in show (Euroyawn, Dancing About, Eastenders and the rest of that dirge).

that's the contractual arrangement to get to publicise a 'stars' new film or book or just to keep them in the limelight for an up and coming film, book or something. The reasonably priced car is just incidental.
I must say the program is becoming a bit cheesy lets hope the BBC do a better job with the F1 Rolling Eyes
