Oh well off I go tomorrow (17th ) to Leith with the marina for a Crimewatch UK reconstruction of the murder of a prostitute years ago. There is a Capri going as well. I cant remember what I had for my dinner last week so how they can jog someones memory 30 years ago is beyond me. Looking forward to it. Mind you I dont know if there will be much of the car shown as we will have to wait until it is dark.

Having worked on cold cases similar to the above you will be surprised what people can dredge up from their memories by a little prompting, that's what the re enactment is for. I also use scent/smells as a memory prompt and very often bringing it in to the interview area without the knowledge of the witness. Visual prompts only reach a certain part of memory whereas scent goes deeper

Typical.....The film wasnt shown as there were " technical difficulties" but it was on the 6 oclock news......overspray included . The full story is on the crimewatch website.
