We listed my HA on ebay the winning bidder made all the right signals then did not turn up, so why can i not leave negative feedback for him to warn others but he can leave negative for us, so she is now listed again with a note to say any one with under 10 feedback to contact us first and what happens we get a bid again from some one with zero feedback so Simon cancels the bid and we start again, so if any one would like a nice little HA have a look 200339489076 |

Hi
I know exactly what you mean wit the feed back, I emailes ebay to complain when they first brought this system in, there reply basically told me genuine sellers should like the system, so basically they said I was try to pull fast ones on my customers. Complained about there answer and they basically said it is up to me, if I don't like it then don't use ebay.
There service is spot on isn't it!
Cheers

Ebay is a law unto themselves and have double standards.
Try listing an American Police car for sale here in the U.K. and they will remove it, even if it is an old model. But on Ebay U.S. most of the Crown Victoria's are ex-Police and some older cars even have graphics and many are black and white
Take trailers as another example. I thought the U.K. had gone metric, but not Ebay's (UK) listing for trailers....you have to to use the U.S. measurement of pounds when stating the capacity. Rather strange when you consider the manufacturers plate give Kg capacity. But that is Ebay for you. _________________ 1964 International Harvester |

They don't allow the sale of "Police Equipment". Even if the car looks nothing like a British Police car, they still don't allow it. even stranger is that I have seen American Police cars on Ebay Germany which even have full NYPD markings/lights. It would appear that they can see that it does not look anything like their own Police cars and are happy to list them. I think the UK ruling comes from the U.S. Ebay ruling that forbids the sale of "Police Equipment" even though they allow the listing of cars. Here they have just banned everything.

With the hidden IDs and inability to leave honest feedback ebay is turning into a shill bidders paradise.
I was run up on an item some while ago,it was difficult but I was able to see the seller had other 'sales' with the same highest bidder each time who in two years had only ever bid on items from this seller.
I reported the matter to ebay who closed the auctions, but a week later he was back again selling the same stuff with a bidder who'd only been on ebay a day bidding for half of them. |

I have been watching this item and it has been on since the 19th. Why have they not removed it? Is it because the seller is in the U.S, where I am sure it would be removed, or is it because it does not mention POLICE in the description. They don't have a clue as to what they are doing _________________ 1964 International Harvester |
