I saw this caravan a couple of years ago, when it appeared to have been not long removed from its pitch, when it wasn't a shell.

Until the beginning of last year, there was a small site near Prestatyn which had lots of caravans like this on it. The site was owned by a very elderly lady, who had to move into a residential home, after which the site was closed and the caravans abandoned. The last time we saw the site was when it was being dug over and the caravans flattened. It was a great shame as it was probably the most complete 1960s caravan site I have seen in recent years.

what a shame, i really like the 50's/60's statics - there was a really nice bluebird one on ebay recently in the highlands but it would have cost 1k to have it transported to me so that was that! i think they scrapped it in the end, shame as it was in immaculate condition!
