After a long, hot day down at Beech Restorations (an aircraft restoration group I volunteer with, there's also a few WW2 vehicles), it was nice to see a very interesting car in the pub car park - a 1913 Vauxhall, fitted with an 11 litre 1918 Wolseley Viper engine, as used on the SE5a. I've seen this vehicle at a couple of Vintage Sports Car Club race meetings but didn't realise it was so local (presumably). Unfortunately only had my phone with me to take photos on
It's also down to attend the Curborough Sprint next weekend, so will see it in action there |

Fantastic!
I bet it sounds wonderful in full flight - definitely a "polygrip your dentures in Euphemia" racing car.
Thanks for posting, its made my morning.
Scotty. |

| Should be a good one, it's only about an hours drive from me and could do with some VSCC action (and most importantly, it's on a Sunday so doesn't clash with my aviation activities on a Saturday). Fingers crossed my Frazer Nash car club polo shirt will arrive by then |
