hi buzzy yes I've done both brush painting it and rollering it on.
I do it 3:1 ie 3 being paint and 1 hardner!!
For better flow I think thinning it would be even better (using appropriate thinners though)
by rollering it on using high density foam rollers u can have quite a nice finish infact, I give it about 4 or 5 coats sanding the orange peel in between the coats with 800 grit wet n dry. After the final coat has dried I use 1200 wet n dry and then some rubbing compound!!
Its a bit time consuming but you can get very good results depending on your patience!!
Here are a couple of pics of the buggage boot interior which I painted using this method, its not excellent but not that bad!!
