When I said for sale, I should have said I don't want a lot for it - i just want to ensure it will go to a good home, to someone who will try to make it good again
PS Please see "vintage photo shoot" post - our van looks to be very like this in layout and style, and size, but nowhere near this standard at present - but with some tender loving care, it could be just like this one! [color=green]In fact the more I look at it, the more I realise it has the same things in the same places, same fittings, same style, but having now checked out some vintage photos online, I'm fairly certain it's a Sprite 400

Hi - I have a quite old caravan for sale
It's a 10ft Sprite - from the 60's I believe
We've had it over 20 years, but it hasn't been used for many years, except as storage. When we had it it had been re - upholstered, but wheteher it had been refitted I've no idea as I don't know what it was like originally. The upholstery is still in very good condition, though in no way 'period', - but the originals are under the new covers, and are in good nick apart from needing thorough cleaning
It has a double dinette berth at one end, with a single sofa berth at the other end with a single pipe cot/pullman berth over.
It is fitted with a double burner, grill and oven, and a sink , both set in a cupboard/drawer unit, and has another cupboard /wardrobe
There is an awning which fits, which could come with it
I think it is basically sound, but would need a very good tidy up at least
It has not moved for several years and has been sitting on its wheels, but we have recently pumped up the tyres and they seem to be holding the pressure, and it moves easily
We would love to restore it to tow with our 1970 Herald convertible, but we don't have time or energy at present, and the longer we leave it the older it gets, so we'd rather let it go to someone who can make good use of it
No idea of price, so if you're interested, just make an offer. Haven't done photos, but will try to take some, let me know your email if interested, and I'll forward something on to you
We're in West Midlands/North Worcestershire, very near M5/M6/M42

Smile [/b] Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
