It is a 497cc BSA 'Sloper' made in 1928-30. The only change that I can see is that the standard fit fishtails have been removed from the silencers and replaced with straight pipes. It is registered in Coventry. _________________ Keep Torqueing,

I agree with Rotary Bri, BSA Sloper. At the top of the forward pushrod tube is the valve lifter mechanism with cable. Not only has the exhaust been changed but no name on the tank, an accident perhaps?
A BSA sold in Coventry, how annoying for the Triumph works still located in the city centre in 1930!
And now my turn to be annoying, how good to see non-original features on an old machine. No originality zealots in those days! |
