Just found this great new site - like Ebay but just for classic vehicles. Easy to use and I just sold my Jaguar on it so it must work !! The buyer even paid me !

Hmmmmmm

I received an email from the people who set this up, I've been keeping an eye on it but have only seen a Humber and a pink Cadillac (!) on there. Could you send me the link to the Jaguar that sold on there please?

thanks
Rick

Interesting, the seller certainly left glowing feedback.

Reading about the V12 E Type, it says that it didnt start out life as a S3 V12 - was it one of the small number of factory-built 6 cylinder Series 3s then? or were they the 2+2s? and then converted to 12 cyl power? must have been quite some conversion job I imagine?

Yes, it was quite a car and a very good conversion. I think the buyer got a bargain actually. He drove down and paid cash the day after the auction and had a big smile on his face when he drove away !
