Hello fellow enthusiasts.
We have just joined the forum and have found it very interesting indeed.
As I said in my other post we have just purchased a 1960 Car Cruiser Clubman off of e-bay in really nice condition. She just needs a bit of TLC to put her right. We picked her up at Carnforth to the north of Morecambe and after a bit of work on the brake linkage and fitting new tyres we got her back to Cornwall without any incident. Mind you we kept to 50 - 55 mph all the way. Much to the annoyance of fellow motorists ! We are looking to find some more info on the old girl and a few parts needed to bring her back to her former glory.
1/ We need three gas lights either Bijou or no 1 type
2/ A period gas cooker or hob
3/ A period steel Elsan or similar loo
4/ A spare wheel
5/ Any literature on the 1960 ish Clubmans
6/ Front and rear Car Cruiser name plates / badges
Hoping to show her next year at some classic rallies and shows.
Cheers
George & Phil

Hi Dalek,
Wow! She is a lovely old girl
We have just got a little cadet (some pics a bit further down the page), and like you, hope to attend rallies and such next year. I'd like to get a classic car to tow her with too!
Any chance of some inside pics of yours?
Best Wishes
