I love my 1941 Chevy and today a friend dropped past with his 1941 Sport Scout, a one-year only bike and pretty rare.
With the Art Deco Chevy, this gorgeous bike and the launch of the best film of all time was this as good as it got? |

I thought it was a pretty crap year: I was three years old and spent most of my day wondering why I was being thrown on to a mattress in an Anderson shelter every time a siren went. And noisy... _________________ Due to the onset of my mid eighties I'm no longer sprightly and rarely seen in my Austin special. I have written a book though. https://amzn.eu/d/7rwRRqL |

Yes, well noted
I suppose I was talking about designs - and American designs at that, given that 1941 was still pre war across the pond |

Have to agree. American design at that time was really fantastic and I'd almost forgotten they were late for the war. Probably too busy designing. _________________ Due to the onset of my mid eighties I'm no longer sprightly and rarely seen in my Austin special. You were lucky Pigtin! That was the year I caught pneumonia in our Anderson Shelter!
By the way is that bike a V4 2stroke? It rather looks like it. If it is it must be unique. _________________ Quote from my late Dad:- You only need a woman and a car and you have all the problems you
