Other than the Marina and now the Pilgrim Bulldog and a bit of gardening ( only because I need to ) not much really. I just wondered if any of you had any hobbies. _________________ The Clan Chieftain |

| Photographing birds and wild life. Usually take one of the classics with me - killing 2 birds with 1 stone, so to speak. |

Fishing, listening to baroque music and, more recently, writing humourous short stories. ( Although you wouldn't think so from the grammatical errors in some of my postings.) _________________ Due to the onset of my mid eighties I'm no longer sprightly and rarely seen in my Austin special. I have written a book though. https://amzn.eu/d/7rwRRqL |

| My wife runs a ghost hunting group and we go all over east Anglia to differant places, bit like the Taps team on sky TV (not most haunted which is a load of ------) I started off a sceptic but I've seen/herd a few thing that have made me stop and think again not just knocks and bangs but voices captured on tape etc |

With the Hobbies and interests, I like to build models whether its, planes, bikes or cars, any type. I also built a small model boat, seemed a good idea at the time! I like my plane collection probably the best thou. I like to take my kids fishing, the middle one prefers carp fishing the best. I'm somewhat sad I guess as other than my bike(s) I love to read and do I dare say, I do Jigsaws with me kids... emm.. I hear you say. Well there you go, I said it now.. |

From the age of about 5 I was wandering around boot sales, picking out old Dinky, Corgi, Matchbox and occasionally Spot-On toy cars which I then took home and played with. I think I liked them because they looked like daddy's car (which is now my Austin A35) I can't help thinking children today are missing out with the cheap pieces of plastic they are given to play with
I have a couple of model boats that I bought via ebay, one of which I converted to radio control. Nowadays it is a bit of a static model because when I passed my driving test I was able to play with real toys
I also play the bass guitar...... _________________ Richard Hughes |

| I agree with you about the toy cars of today, I still got some of my stuff from when I was little, found alot of it today whilst sorting out the attic. My kids toys most probably wont be around when their my age, just not made of the right stuff!! Bit like the motors of today. I've had my Yamaha SR125SE since 86 and she's in the shed with me Puch, yeh a few wrinkles, yet my Bandit only 8 yr old found rust on her today,.. well not impressed..! |
