|
|
Greetings -
I have a 1958 Morris J2 pickup. It has a 1489cc engine. I am located in the US, and am having no luck finding some parts I need for restoration.
Here is a partial list of parts needed:
1) The fuel pump or at least the spring inside (or specs on the spring for rebuilding)
2) I need the rubber plug that goes in the top of the transmission bellhousing.
3) clutch slave cylinder and/or the rubber boot
4) that weird bottom radiator hose with a smaller branch joining the larger one. It looks like a Y.
5) the windshield (or screen to you folks across the pond)
I could use many other parts as well, so if you have a J2 item to sell, let me know. Any help I can get is appreciated! |

Greetings, Rick -
I emailed and received a reply from the brochure fellow... but I have not heard back again from him from my follow-up email.
He would not give me an asking price; and perhaps he did not think my offer was high enough, I don't know.
Nice website you have here! I hope it continues to gain momentum.

Hi Paul
Condition & rarity is everything with brochures, if he is holding out for a high price let me know, there are specialist dealers in the UK who may be able to offer similar literature at cheaper prices...
cheers

Hi,
I have some parts for the J2 if you still need them including the windscreen.
email me at david@classiccamperspares.co.uk if you still need them. i do know shipping screens to America is almost impossible! (and doing it cheaply is impossible).
