As there has been a bit of discussion on the forum recently as regards covering classics when they are being stored outdoors, i thought that I would mention a way that we do it here.
We use some adjustable Plastic Joints. Between these joints we put a piece of 24 x 48mm wood, and then cover the whole thing with tarpaulins.
I've asked Rick to post some pictures so that you can all see the principle. |

U.J Those are just the type of thing I need!
Are they available commercially to the U.k by any chance? |

I like that idea, its like a big tinker toy set!
Would be a lot stronger than some of these conduit frames I've seen.
These joints have a name? |

I've only ever seen them here, and unfortunately dont have a maufacturers name or anything. One thing that I forgot to say is that they come in packs of 12.
I'll investigate with the suppliers if they are available in the UK /US, and get back to you all.

Perhaps the site where the images originally came from (above) mentions a product name of some kind?

Rick, thanks for reminding me, I'd forgotten all about this!
I just had a look on the website. All that it says is (and I'm translating for you all): For construction of for example greenhouses, sheds, sunscreens, boat covers. adjustable from 75 -180 degrees at 15 deg. intervals. For 24 x 48mm battens. Can be disassembled for reuse. 12 pack. Article 31-2578.
I am going to order some myself shortly ie when I get the time, so I will see if there is any more info there.
