I thought it might be an International Harvester badge but further investigation seem it isn't Crying or Very sad

Strangely enough, the Hotpoint washing machine was sold in Australia under the name Lightburn. Lightburn designed and build a number of light cars back in the sixties. The Lightburn Zeta for example.............

Hotpoint appears to have used this logo for a short time in the late 50's early 60's.

Reference to it, with photos, can be found in a blog created by Kenny Smith. Google Kenny Smith, Blog to find it.
