Now if motor adverts were like this in the UK I wouldn't make so much use of the mute button. (The language is mild but may offend some.)

About a year ago the high court of Australia made the momentous descision that bugger was not a swear word. Immediately Toyota jumped on the band waggon! We've had adverts like that ever since. If anybody listens to it, then it doesn't say too much for Toyota owners and buyers!!!

I'm not sure if I should be bragging about it,but these ads were actually new zealand Toyota ads. They first came on the scene in the 80's,with a bush poet/writer named Barry Crump, accompanied by his little "towny" mate Scotty.
Crumpy is sadly gone to that great bush in the sky,but he was the one that coined the "bugger" phrase in these ads.
Of course, this particular phrase is used somewhat differently in the antipodes to the rest of the world.I guess comparable to "goshdurnit",or "flamin'nora" in the uk.
The idea with the dog mouthing is new though, and quite funny.
