Here we go Smile every now and again i would like to put on a caravan that represents its period , This is a 1952 Raven mignon, and is typcial of the lower end ,beginners van , well made but simple , designed to be towed by the family car,
it has aluminium walls and roof, hardboard walls, plank floor, wooden chassis,s with steel A frame, single gas light , and a cleaver fold down bed in a cupbard
if youl like to see more vans please leave feedback,
Regards OVM Very Happy

,

Would I what ???

You folk over there have some of the most interesting old caravans that in their time had a big influence in the way the caravan industry developed in Australia and ........... you have done such a great job preserving that part of your touring history.

You've started with the 50's era O V M ...... I'd like to see you work backwards from there, 40s...... 30s......... 20s, I can't get enough of the UKs Historic Caravans.

Cobber.

This to me is what this site is all about showing and recording the history of caravans, all those little gems from the past ,because if we do not record, restore, or take photos they are gone overever!
keep them coming in!
