Hi
As only a girl would say ‘a yellow one’!! Laughing
I used to own a Mini 850, had it during the early 80’s and yes it was bright yellow. Really liked driving it but had to change to a bigger car so that I could fit Dave’s big sister in the back as well as the pushchair!

One of the more interesting 'Minis' I've been in was a Mini-based kit car, built in the early 70s when I was a nipper by my uncle. It had a breathed-on Min engine mounted behind the seats, and went like a rocket - I well remember being a passenger doing 120+ on the M5. Sadly an errant Vauxhall Carlton lunched the GTM in the 1980s and it is no more. RIP HTU 880K.

I learnt to drive on mum's E reg Mini estate, that had an 1100 engine in it and went well too, sadly that was sold and later written off when someone drove into it while parked. RIP GVU 146E.

One day I'll buy a hot Mini, an early Cooper S (or tweaked standard Mk1) would be fun. My brother had a tuned early 80s Mini for a while, and that was a lot of fun to drive too. I think the floors began to fall out of it, so was sold fairly soon after.

Mine would be the Riley Elf or Wolseley Hornet - just loved the extra chrome, comfort and bigger boot.

Always thought the Wood & Pickett conversion of the Mini was a serious looking car - and serious money I believe.

Hi

I don't really have a favourite, just like original looking stuff and ofcourse have a soft spot for the sidewalk.

The mini hot rod always was apealing to me, but with only one ever created, maybe hard to get hold of and rather dear! I am surprised there has not been more replica Mini Hot Rods developed!

Cheers
