Hi people ....there appears to be another online petition on the govt website to try & get classic road tax exemption rolling again. Gotta be worth signing up.....PLEASE put the word out onto other Forums etc etc...Cheers Dave "scoot"

I'd love to see this extended, but TBH it's probably best left alone.

If there are any changes it's bound to be scrapped altogether!

leave well alone, why encompass more cars within exemption and make the whole scheme more worthwhile to scrap? If a rolling date was re-introduced, I'd prefer it to be much further back in time, say 35 or even 40 years. People starting these campaigns to upset the status quo simply draw attention to it, and potentially risk the whole thing being binned.

There'll always be people moaning about how their car just misses the deadline, while a friend's identical car (but a few months older) falls within the exemption, but thats life really. If you must have a tax exempt car, just buy one.
