Like many others I suspect, I signed the online petitions supporting the rolling exemption for VED and opposing the scrappage scheme.

Gordon's reply arrived today.

What a load of patronising nonsense! I can imagine some PR Guru suggesting that 'if we let them fill in petition forms it will keep the peasants under control.'

Next time I express my oppinion to a politician will be at election time thanks.
