This is a picture of my late father-in-laws raly 1930's Vauxhall (at Bournemouth) he ran in the 1950's until it was written off in a hit & run.

Can anyone identify mode and exact year please?

AMX --- was issued in London, January 1934. If that helps.

Maybe not very helpful but I would have guessed at 14/6 ~1934
but might be a Cadet.

Thanks - it does look like a 14/6 - except its got a spot lamp but strangely no trafficators. Perhaps optional then? It was also black all over

Its either an ASY (12hp) or ASX (14hp), I swapped my Saab van for an ASY in the early 1990s Smile
