Shocked My Dad's got a box full of those in his workshop; unused since he gave up carpentry about 40 years ago. The last time we spoke he said, "If there's anything you want...."
"Er, yes please Dad, that box of old planes that was knocking about....?" Very Happy

The two I have in boxes are 12" long, that one was the small one

Surely that is an example of people going mad over an auction!

I use a similar plane regularly, and have a couple of spares if anyone wanted to offer the ridiculous for them! I also have some all-wood ones that just might be worth a bob or two.
