I'm not sure that everybody watches those “Sticky” threads at the top of the home page here but Rick has been updating the “Caravan additions to the main site” one recently and I was hoping somebody...O V M ? could identify the caravans posted on January 19th.... especially the 1935 one .

The 1937 “Carapart catalogue” posted yesterday looks interesting too.

Cobber.

hi cobber, nice pics thanks for reminding me about the link , the first van in the pic is a 1933-34 Carcrusier model four, i will be putting a article on the forum about this model Carcrusier, in the near future , the second van we think is an early Thomson Smile ...OVM

G'day O V M,

Yes I thought maybe Thomson but only because the photo was taken in Scotland... but I couldn't find a photo to verify it.

In that last thread Rick posted.... about the 1937 Carapart Company Catalogue... on about the 9th. page they show a "Flexion" folding table.

Do you have any idea how long that design was made in the UK ?

We had a very similar table that was made in Australia from the 1950s through to the 1970s I think.

Cobber.
