Hi Ive been working on an old "New Hudson" cycle. Its comming along quite nice. Recently I was given a real nice leather Brooks saddle. I know its not exactly right for an old bike but is much better than the plastic saddle I had before. Only thing is I am struggling to get a seat post! I can get a really high tech/racing one in ali but I need something more fitting like cheap pressed steel one. Can you believe it I cant seam to find one? Any body have any ideas it would be most welcomed.

Buddsy

This might sound daft, but go to the tip, and ask them for a bicycle, they should get you one for a couple of quid for there hassle, and would be pretty sure there would be an old steel bike, with buckled wheels etc. Our tip has loads of bikes in a pile!
