I brought Tilly out of hibernation and filled her up with some fresh petrol. I like to try and keep the tank almost empty over the winter so that I have fresh petrol at the start of the season.
MOT due this month so I will give her a quick look over, though I suspect nothing is required and book a test.
I came back from the filling station and gave her a wash, this was some pictures I took

Thanks Peter.
I went for a drive to check there were no odd noises before I book Tilly in for the MOT. I did about 35-40 miles and everything seems fine so I will get the MOT booked for the end of the month _________________ ROVER

Pardon my ignorance, but is that the same model as used by Inspector Foyle on ITV? Whatever, she looks drop dead gorgeous and if ever you find yourself in dire need of polishing a car then mine are available! |

Definitely a Rover in the latest series, I missed the program but on the trailer it looked like a 1948/49 P3 which would be about three years out as the program is set in the summer of 1945 but as I say it was only a quick look and I could be wrong (according to the wife I always am) |

check out the second photo in this set the Rover has a centre "pass lamp" and two horns a la Rover P 3 but it looks like the bumpers are of the pressed steel type used on the P3, the pre 1948 P2s had the spring steel types

Don't think I've seen the last series.
And as you say, they must have a time machine.
