Quick question - my 7 has 19" rims on it, will later (ie Ruby) 17" wheels fit on ok?? Apart from lowering the gearing, are they a direct replacement?

Long term I'd like to find a good set of 19s, but in the interim if some good 17s turned up I'm tempted to try them.

thanks, R

I would imagine so, the ones on our '32 RN look exactly the same as the ones on the '37 Ruby, but I'm not 100%!

Rick,

I'm almost certain the hubs are the same. You'd have to check the clearance to the body behind the wheels as the 17" tyres are wider.

Keith,

Are you visiting Southend on this tour? Wink

Richard.

Yes, Rick, 17" wheels will be a direct swap for your 19".
