Hi, I do hope that someone can help me to find a set of seat runners for the driver's seat in my 1937 Morris 8 4-door saloon.

I removed mine and lent them to a good friend so that he could get them copied and complete the restoration of his 1936 model. They were in the boot of his Rover Vitesse when it was stolen from his drive!

There are now two Eights minus seat runners, theiving gits! Drawings or even close-up photographs may be of help as I run a small fabrication business and could possibly make some runners.

Oh, and if anyone has need of welding repairs to aluminium components it's a bit of a speciality of ours. Mate's Rates to apply!

Where abouts are you, just thought it might help people if they do need some welding doing. I have never tried aluminum, lead or copper welding, all of which I fancy trying. Very Happy

The workshop is in Digbeth, Birmingham, although I live in Water Orton in North Warwickshire.

Central for most!

Hi there.

New to the forums, only joined yesterday after I saw your post.

I have a 1936 8 tourer which has both front seats out at the moment, so if you like I can try and take some pictures for you if you still require some help.

Can I assume it is only the part that attaches to the car that is missing and not the seat half of the runner???
