|
|
On 1st August my Amazon will be 40 years old. I am looking for ideas on how to celebrate.
The supplying dealer's address is now a Tesco supermarket, so no point in going back there.
Suggestions welcome. _________________ Brian

Count yourself lucky Brian, my manufacturer's site is now a Morrisons Supermarket
As for your celebration, why not contact your local newspaper and see if they will do an article on you, your car and the hobby in general??

Doing that anyway!
Rick
I only have details of three previous owners - Derbyshire, South Wales and Suffolk so that would be quite a trip.
I am only in contact with a couple of Amazon owners local to me so the convoy would be a short one! _________________ Brian

Do all classic/survivor owners think alike ? My old Austin is 60 on the 20th of December next and yes ..... I was thinking of taking it back to Longbridge for a few pics ... "MO" _________________ A vehicle can be restored at any time, But is original only once ! |

It seems a lot of us do.
Emmersons mention of Sweden next year refers to the annual European Classic Caravan Re-union that is in Sweden in 2011.
Naturally my trip will have to include an additional 400 miles drive to Goteberg where my Volvo was born! _________________ Brian
