Wanted for 1960's Carcruiser carissima, 2 ring vintage hob and heater. I believe the original hob was cream with a red knob on the front and also the splashback which was in a yellow 50's looking pattern. If you can help with the above or have any other vintage enamel 2 ring hob for sale please call, Many thanks

Hi Trudie
Sorry, can't help with heater but if you don't mind a bit of advice: don't publish your email address or contact phone no. on any forums. Ask people to pm you.
I thought this advice was being a tad paranoid until recently; a van I bought over t'interweb "has been involved in thefts in Nottingham".
It hasn't - someone has seen the advert from when I bought it and cloned the plates. But it has left me with a bit of explaining to do.
So what with scallies, scammers, phone pests etc etc......

Hello Trudie
The best place to find one of these is good ol e-bay. We have been looking for a hob for our 1958 Eccles Bounty and have just got one in absolutly mint condition for SIX QUID !
Most of the hobs of the '50s and 60's are the same size so would fit your Car Cruiser. Our C C Clubman of 1960 was fitted with a full cooker, and the wrong type had been fitted and again we got a lovely vintage one off e-bay very cheap.
