UJ and I have been talking about something I first heard about a while back, re the manufacture of older Dodge lorries still going on in India and possibly China too. I'd heard that the old Kew-style lorries were still being made, or had been made til quite recently, and UJ thinks the same may apply to the military T234 3 ton trucks. Does anyone know if this is the case, or have more info??

| along the same lines as the Hindustan Ambassador? everything old is new again! well; if the mechanics were upgraded without altering the look and feel of the original, i'm all for it! at least new cars done that way would be easy to look at, unlike the softened bar-of-soap design everybody uses now. i'd rather like one like my dad's old red Dodge pickup, a 53 i think. |

Rick, I've just found out that there are a number of these still being used in the Philippines....I'm trying to find out where they get their spares from. They are not remanufactured, but remaining from WWII
