sorry buzzy but i do not agree with you, if he is healthy, happy, and has enough food and water i do not see why he should be put down, he is accustomed to live in the streets and from yesterday seems that he has settled to sleep in the garage openeing, its undercover and shielded from the winds but for him to be better I will be putting up a small kennel with pieces of scrap wood I have and try to make it look pretty and not an eye sore so that neighbours do not grumble!!
Maybe as time passes he'll want to get in my garage and live there, dogs are not stupid, he will understand that its more warm and cosy in the garage and its quite cool in summer too!!

It's not a problem.^^^
It's made for good reading and I feel for the poor dog at your place. There are so many dogs suffering around the world that it's just nice to hear that someone like you has gone out of his way to "Make Good" for a lonesome stray dog.

Oh there are much more people that are doing much and much more than I have ever done with stray dogs, I admire them, would like to find the time to get to dog sanctuaries and help them out but really cant manage much more in the little free time I have or else I'd need to give up on something like my cars but then who would cary out maintenance on them !!!! Sad

Hi

Be very careful is all I will say, I have seen some of the states strays get into, I used to do some volunteer work for a leading body in the UK. Keep a close eye on how he gets on.

Cheers

Dave

I am staying a couple of hours with him each day while doing some tidying in the garage. He stays there with me but when its time up he's the first to get up and go out, he'll follow me to the doorstep, stay there some time then go back to sleep where he's got his bedding!!
I am taking care of him don't worry buzzy, gave him de worming pills on monday and put some advantix on him to remove thicks and fleas, will give him a bath again and take him to the vet this weekend or next week!!
