hi bayliss as far as i am aware if you have the oldstyle lisence you can tow a combination weight of upto 7 1/2 ton and or 100% of the cars kerb weight ie full of fuel and spare wheel but nought else take your comination to the nearest weighbridge and findout what you weigh
I was recently stopped by vosa and my royale was weighed the young lady couldn,t convert pounds to kilos and had to ask me to do it for her. Confused

How did you get on with VOSA Christine? My Royale Tourstar is up to its max permitted weight when it's practically empty! And that's with the on-board water, water heater, electric pump etc etc removed!

hi uncle alec
vosa are now a self financing organisation and need all the cash they can get so lookout for them on the road they need your cash.
however they were ok with me as they were checking axil weights on cars and trailers the car skoda octavia tdi was a 3/4 of a ton under its limit and the royale t 1475 no water tank was about averagely loaded came in at 1174 kg adout 30kg under it's max so no problem.
watch out no your weights and try to keep legal i mean it they do need your dosh
