Actually for me it's mechanical work, most of my cars leak and burn shedloads of oil and I've never had much luck sorting them out. That was why I bought the Cambridge because it ran so smoothly with a lovely quiet engine even though the bodywork had definitely seen better days. My dad can weld, and I generally prefer cars that are nice to drive than ones that have perfect bodywork. _________________ Richard Hughes |

| Not having unlimited funds or time I always work to my rule of three, The vehicle I am looking for must have at least two out of the following 1) sound mechanics 2) good or useable interior 3) good or saveable bodywork if I have two out of those three I know I have a project I can manage and afford I walk away from vehicles that only tick one of the three. If I had to pick a project with only one of the subjects I guess for me it would be interior as its the only one Im not good at the others I dont mind and to a point know what I'm doing in the other two. |

That's true, another thing that swung the Cambridge for me was a very good interior, s/s exhaust and new tyres/blasted and painted wheels. _________________ Richard Hughes |
