Hi all,

My 1958 Austin A55 Cambridge lost its original number many years ago. I'm hoping to get it back eventually, but for now I would like to make up some original looking plates with the original number for shows. The dealership the car originally came from must have been the Southend Motor and Aero Co.Ltd (SMAC Group) who used Bluemels plates in the 1950's. Therefore I am looking for one rectangular and one square plate with the Bluemels badge, and two each of the following letters and numbers, P J N 6 5 6 (so that's four "6's" I need).

I will probably have to buy several old Bluemels plates in order to put this plan into action, so if you have any you don't need please let me know.

These are Bluemels plates, if you're not sure.

Thanks in advance.

Will do Rich, just got to sort out some photos and spend a couple of hours uploading them (camera is useless).

Tomorrow I plan to give the plates and digits a coat of paint prior to fixing them back on permanently. Then just got the small problem of tracking down who's got my number on retention Rolling Eyes
