Come on Rick you are a Phantom man - none of these gutless underpowered 20/25s for you.
Anyway RRs are fairly common - I've only ever seen one prewar one in a scrapyard and that was years ago. Not a drivers car more to be seen in! _________________ Jonathan Butler

Bit short in the oooomphh department are they? ok I'll cancel the cheque then
Years ago when I first bought my green 122S Volvo, resting against the garage wall was a 12/50 Alvis chassis. Apparently the remainder of the running gear was around somewhere too, I often wonder what happened to it all

And you bought the Volvo? -----------
In spite of wartime bombing strangely enough it is possible to get from Red Triangle at a reasonable cost a copy of the factory build sheet for all (I believe) the Alvis cars. Rather off topic but thought I would mention it. My car was shipped new to Australia but bodied here. By various means of inquiry starting with that build sheet I have today received an email confirming (to my pleasant surprise) it has a racing history over there. _________________ Jonathan Butler

Couldn't resist the leg pull - sorry!-
More information awaited on the car - you will notice I did not say a distinguished or successful racing history!! _________________ Jonathan Butler
