I remember when Santa always used to bring me socks or hankies for Christmas.......Now its chocolates and more chocolates. If there is one box in the kitchen theres a dozen.
Roses......they are ok.....but a big tin
Ferreros...........dont like them....3 big boxes
Celebrations....not the best......1 big tin
Black Magic......used to love them but they have taken out the good ones..2 boxes
Quality Street......ok....but 2 big tins
After Eights.....ok but a bit sickly after you eat a dozen
Plus numerous bags of Jelly beans and licorice allsorts.
Santa must think I am a greedy bugger. Heavy socks for the winter and a pair of long johns would be more appreciated.. _________________ The Clan Chieftain |

I got Simpsons socks ~ 7 pairs each marked with the day of the week.
Trouble is the wife still rolls them together and I'm forever unrolling them trying to find the right day!!
(got chocolates too)

The secret is to drop hints. I did so and ended up with a boxed set of 'More Industrial Relations' from my grandson (11 months ).
On the other hand the unsolicited pack of thermal socks have been very welcome this last couple of weeks

| Yes I was given loads of sweets/biscuits for xmas and my birthday on the 1st (and I mean a serious amount) and as the annual diet started on New Year’s Day they all went to work on Wednesday morning. Put them in the staff room at 9 and they were all gone by the 11 o’clock break, no wonder my fellow teachers are all overweight |

| My family know me well so I get vouchers from my local car parts outlet, and my youngest got me an original 1951 Hudson Hornet sales brochure (My lottery win dream car) |
