Opinions? I've always fancied one.

That looks like a charming example and very tidy. I also like the radiator muff that's been fitted, a nice addition. I can't say Mayflowers are my favourite Triumphs, I've always thought they look slightly awkward, but I'd say it's worth a look. They never seem to fetch a great deal either, and I imagine that it'll be cheap to insure.

Go for it Smile there can't be many of them in regular use still. I'm not entirely sold on the look of them and I'm not sure what the spares story is like, but worth looking into!

Looks in good shape.

The engine is basically pre-war Standard 10 and perhaps surprisingly the gearbox is very similar to Standard Vanguard (except for the tail shaft).

If had the money I'd be after it
Have always loved them, even when I was at School, a friends Father had one in the 50's, and I seem to remember how solid they were.

Another one. Looking a bit more worn but fantastic original. Even with its original carpets (so he claims).
The more I look at those Mayflowers the more I seem to need one. Although I struggle to find some real valid arguments for it!

I know the feeling! Laughing

That one above is lovely, if a little pricey. I'd give him £300 for it Wink
