Some great cars and trucks here

http://www.historics.co.uk/buying/online-catalogue.aspx?page=2

Some look pretty low estimates so might be some bargains!

That looks a heck of an auction, I wouldn't mind a few from that collection

Tempting to head doon south for a day, although the estimates look very "light" to say the least...I did spot a nice Dodge recovery truck in that lot the other day.

There's a Minor 1000 on Thornfalcon's website. Believed 41,000 miles; looks good from the photos, incl leather interios. £3950 - doesn't seem over the top for a dealer.

It'll be interesting to see how many of the Marvel Collection sell and how many of those that do sell go abroad. In these austere times there must surely be a limited demand for such vehicles (I too wish I could win the lottery - would love a few of those...)

Talking of Thornfalcons, this was my dad's. He extensively restored it, full respray, inner and outer wings, sills, crossmember, chassis legs etc. He sold it via Ebay and it was bought by a numberplate dealer who had the original number TPM 657 off it within three weeks and sold it to Thornfalcon's, who it turn flogged it on. £4,250 they wanted for it.

Richard, that's a different car - the one I'm talking about is dark grey/red interior.

I don't think you have to worry about any of it going to the US
