I'm going to stick my neck on the line and say I actually like that green Renown! It is very well done and certainly different, I definitely wouldn't have used a horrible Ford V6 engine in it though.

I don't find it offensive at all - we seem to accept American hotrods and custom cars; why not British cars? (I like the Hillman van too).

This chap lives in my area and we often meet up at shows as I have a P3 as well, he's done a good job saving a P3 which as he said would have gone for scrap if he hadnt saved it. It dose look rather good me thinks

Do you all remember American Hotrod with the late Boyd Coddington ?

I used to cringe when he turned sound original cars into hot rod monstrosities. The ones that I remember most were the superb Model T Ford which became a hideous matt black and dark red rat rod and the beautiful Chevrolet Impala he bought from one of his former employees and turned into a ghastly lime green convertible.

Boyd Coddington would look at the completed creation and say : "Now that's a hotrod."
