I was asked when I joined your forum to post up some photographs of my "fleet". So here we go.

This is my 1962 Series 2a Land Rover which I bought from a friend six years ago. He in turn had owned it for 18 years and was only the third owner from new. It is used nearly every day and for towing as well. It is great fun!

Above is my next project, a 1954 Series One Land Rover 86inch which I have just bought. Beneath all that dust and horrid paintwork is a very sound and solid Series One. The engine is interesting, it's a BMC 1.6 from an Austin A55/A60 or similar and it's as sweet as a nut. This was a popular conversion in the 1970s but it has to go in favour of a "proper" 2litre Land Rover engine if I can find one. Failing that I have a spare good 2286cc Series 2a unit I can use. I can only give you this glimpse for the time being. The photo was taken in a dark and photo unfriendly location but as soon as I get it home I will take some more.

The third member of the fleet is a 1964 Jaguar Mark 2 which I have owned for twenty years.
I will post up some photos of this one for you another time.

Ellis
