Evening all,

Inspired by an experiment undertaken by Brian M a little while back, I've decided to have a dabble with an OCC Page on Facebook. Bear with me while I fiddle with it, it only went live this evening so I still need to weigh up the pro's and con's of Like buttons and all that other social-media-type stuff that people seem to talk about, but feel free to Like it via the Page itself for the timebeing (that's if you like it Smile).

Hopefully it'll open up the site and forum to many more users, once I put some updates on there and it (hopefully) gets a following, which can only be a good thing - I think!?

More the merrier,

RJ

Smile I've only dabbled, but as it seems to be such a big "thing" I decided that I should have a better look at it

Hi

It can't do any harm can it, more traffic got to be a good thing.

I like Facebook for keeping intouch with all my old friends, who have mostly moved away, and also for getting intouch with other steam engine people. I think most people I know are on Facebook, so there must be a fair number of Facebook Members!

Cheers

Dave

As Dave says handy for keeping in touch.

I've also got back in touch with army mates from 40-50 years ago, even a couple from school.

And one small club in Kent has nearly double it's membership since opening a club facebook account.

Just have to be more aware of what you post.
