| And a better piece of rope, or a strap, to hold the door shut. |

If he can count that high, I'd expect his spelling & punctuation to be better.
It's probably 160,000 Tanzanian shillings, which is about 58 quid, which is about what it's worth, which is about what you'd get at the scrap yard.
& you'll probably have to pay by Western Union................... _________________ Mike - MVPeters at comcast.net

You partially correct, but way out two points!
160,000 Tanzanian shillings, probably correct.
The worth of an Fordson like pictured is substantially more than £58
(You may be advised to brush up on your valuations?)
Scrap yards, giving £58 for this, you would be getting very ripped off! I can get about £200 - £250 for any car you take, and that is modern rubbish.
Why would you take this to a scrap yard?
I have often wonder why people take classics to scrap them, when I see something old in the scrap yard. |

Sorry Buzzy - it was mostly a joke! I live in the US & rather out of touch with the UK markets.
I drove something similar on Meals-On-Wheels service in the 60's. _________________ Mike - MVPeters at comcast.net

The same person also has another cheap car for sale, but the phone number appears to be wrong. There doesn't appear to be a 78 area code. Numbers are 7 digits. 255 78 4596556
