Well Dave, for a start the the tyres are a little short on tread!
Seriously it's a nice thing to play with, I can remember the Tri Tandems that Wirksworth Quarries owned back in the 1960's. Is it yours?

Hi
Yeah this is my new toy, got it home yesterday, it was a Wirksworth Quarry roller, not from new obviously, but it was with them, and I have their plate on the side.

Will do, eventually when on the road, you may be asked to be steersman on a thursday evening but that might be another year, hehehe mid summer to allow daylight to get home after it! hehehe |

I had a pic somewhere of Wirksworth Quarries resurfacing the East Lancs Road. Lost it now though.

Well yes this started life as a normal roller but the driver took it down the pub one night,the result is for all to see . |
